What a great bonus for those that remember comics from an earlier age. This graphic book is full of clever illustrations and the sound effects that help the stories come alive.
There is a good mix of speech bubbles and drawings to carry the narrative along. With five episodes in the life of Robin Hood we are treated to how he became an outlaw; met and recruited Little john, gave his heart to maid Marian and won an archery contest. His nemesis is the Sherriff of Nottingham and these stories What a great bonus for those that remember comics from an earlier age.

This is a wonderful collection of well-loved accounts in the life of Robin Hood and demonstrate why he remains such an engaging figure robbing the rich to help the poor. Some of us remember TV episodes before Robin of Sherwood hit our screens in the 80's. That is the late 50's from memory.

He decides to hide out in Sherwood forest and finds that there are other outlaws that find themselves in the same situation.
They decide to form a band that steal from the rich and cruel as they pass through the forest and then to give to the poor. He soon angers the sheriff of Nottingham who is driven to capture him, yet Robin Hood proves too clever to fall into his trap.
Target audience: Ages Dec 01, F rated it really liked it. Huzzahs all around! Yeates seems to have based his Robin likeness on Errol Flynn which is not a bad idea.
